Trainee or Modern Apprenticeship – Plant & Maintenance Engineer

KR Group are seeking an enthusiastic individual, with an interest in construction plant maintenance and engineering to join our team as an apprentice or trainee. This entry-level opportunity at our Aberdeenshire HQ offers a blend of practical, hands-on experience with theoretical learning, providing you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your career.

Our experienced team will be on hand to support you and pass on industry knowledge. You’ll have dedicated time set aside to study, with the opportunity to earn while you learn.

Trainee/Apprenticeship Requirements:

  • Can demonstrate base knowledge of the construction industry (or a willingness to learn!).
  • Able to communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and external contacts.
  • LOLER certified.
  • Works accurately, with an attention to detail.
  • Can prioritise workload to meet deadlines, with support from the Senior Plant & Vehicle Engineer.
  • Comfortable handling and operating machinery whilst adhering to strict safety instructions.
  • Passionate about learning, and continuous development.
